I got this as a gift, arrived assembled. I liked it that it had 4 wheels and the foam handle was nice,too. But, it broke on my way home from the grocery yesterday. It broke where the handle meets the body of the cart. Snap, while negotiating an uneven place on the sidewalk.
Someone else complained about getting it over the ridges and ditches in the sidewalk. Very difficult! And yes, both you and the cart nearly do front flips.
I'm 5'3" and I found that the handle bar was uncomfortably short for me. I wanted to tip it on the back wheels and push it in front of me. It's easier on your back that way.
This is the second cart that has broken on me in exactly the same way. The other one was not a Polder. When I lived in Madrid, it seemed like all of us living in the city had carts. They came with a plastic inner liner, so it was great against the rain. I live in Seattle now, so I think of that a lot. I used to load up the cart with tons of heavy stuff without thinking twice and I never had any problem. Not only that, but there was a "parking" area in the grocery to leave the cart while you shopped.
I think now, I'm just going to carry groceries in my backpack. No more problems with the sidewalk, no more stooping over the handle bar, no more broken carts, no more hankering after my European lifestyle.

This cart is strong and easy to roll. We bought the similar carts but they were broken within months because of their cheap constructions. I wish there would be bigger size of this cart....

This cart is absolutly perfect for me. I have had many carts but this one is the best by far. It is very light weight, has perfect balance and the wheels turn in any direction. I love it.
