After using a plastic Tupperware roller that had to be filled with water the last 10 years, I broke down to get a legitimate rolling pin when my wife decided to start making more of our items from scratch. The first use went well and my wife really liked the weight and performance of the pin. We are far from gourmet pastry chefs, but for our occasional use it is a keeper.

I love this rolling pin. It replaced my old Tupperware one (that had to be filled with water). This wooden pin is made very well, is substantial in size and weight, and is perfect for rolling out all kinds of dough (perfect for pierogi dough). Love it!
